Think of these as the next exciting chapters in your Great Garden Picnic Storybook—but the real magic happens when you create your own!

1. Little Sprouts Planting Kit
First, let’s get those green fingers busy! Experience the joy of nurturing life and watching it grow.

What you'll need from your box: Your LITTLE SPROUTS planting kit (magic beans, dirt circle, pot and mini watering can).

What you'll need from home: A sunny spot and a little bit of water!

How to Play:

Get Planting: Pop your dirt circle in the pot and fill with water until completely covered, give it a few minutes to rehydrate and expand to fill the pot. Bury your Magic Beans just below the surface. Water daily with a few drops of water from your mini watering can.

The Waiting Game: Find a nice, sunny spot and keep the soil damp with a few drops of water every day and watch them grow! It should only take 2-4 days to start sprouting, so you don't need to wait too long for the magic happens! This is a great opportunity to talk to your little explorers about what the magic beans need to grow big and strong.

Watch the Magic: Check your pot every day! What do you see? This is a beautiful lesson in patience and nature’s wonder.

2. Dig & Discover Sensory Tray
Time to dig for treasures! This is a fantastic hands-on activity to explore textures and fine motor skills.

What you'll need from your box: Your DIG & DISCOVER dry sensory tray mix and exciting accessories (including some carrots, potatoes, a mini shovel and some gorgeous little worms!).

What you'll need from home: A tray or dish to play in.

How to Play:

Set the Scene: Empty the dry sensory mix into your play tray.

Plant your veg and hide the worms: Dig a shallow hole and bury away! This makes for an exciting game of hide and seek. Can your little explorer find them all? Can you take it in turns to hide and to seek?
- Let their imagination take over: Time to sit back and watch your little one explore all the wonders of farming their own veggies. Will they name their new little worm friends? Or set up a mini market to sell their veg? Maybe they will cook a nice roast with their veg!

3. Fizzy Surprise Butterfly Transformation
Experience a colourful science experiment where nature meets magic!

What you'll need from your box: Your Fizzy Friend caterpillar, dropper and/or spray bottle.

What you'll need from home: A small dish or bowl and some water.

How to Play:

Meet the Caterpillar: Place your fizzy caterpillar friend into the bowl. Does your little one want to give it a name? Do they know what caterpillars turn into?

Add the Magic: Drip, pour or spray water over the caterpillar. Watch the fizzing reaction as it magically dissolves and transforms to reveal 3 beautiful little butterflies hidden inside! (PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE SMALL PARTS MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3. ALWAYS SUPERVISE YOUR LITTLE EXPLORERS)

Talk Science: What is happening? Explain that this fizz is a gentle chemical reaction, just like some things that happen in nature! Talk about how caterpillars build cocoons and emerge as beautiful butterflies. Do you have some books at home that you can read together to expand on their learning?

Play Safe, Explorers: Your supervision is key! Our kits often contain small treasures that can be a choking hazard. These are always packed in a separate, sealed bag for you to decide if they are right for your explorer.
